CL FIRES is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to strengthening emergency preparedness, response capabilities, and community safety in the Crystal Lakes area. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Become a CL FIRES Supporter
Formerly known as Memberships, our Supporter program reflects the important role community contributions play in sustaining the organization’s mission.
Supporter contributions help fund the operational needs of CL FIRES, allowing the organization to conduct fundraising activities, provide safety education, coordinate community outreach, and administer grant programs that strengthen emergency response in our region.
These funds do not go directly to the Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department. Instead, they ensure CL FIRES can successfully carry out the work that generates financial support for emergency services.
Without operational funding, we cannot host fundraising events, build community partnerships, or provide grant assistance that ultimately benefits the safety of Crystal Lakes residents and visitors.

How Grants Strengthen Regional Protection
CL FIRES awards grants to neighboring fire and emergency service agencies that provide mutual aid during larger incidents such as wildfires, medical emergencies, and rescue operations.
Direct donations designated for the Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department are provided separately. CL FIRES grant funding focuses on strengthening the broader emergency response network that serves our community.
When surrounding departments have the training, equipment, and resources they need, response efforts are more effective and coordinated.
Our community is only as strong as the emergency services that stand beside us when help is needed most.
