Duck Race

Every year, the CL FIRES hosts a beloved community tradition: the Rubber Duck Race! It’s an event that brings together neighbors, friends, and families for a morning of laughter, excitement, and friendly competition—all while supporting the vital work of the Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department (CLVFD).

Here’s the scoop:

1. Adopt a Duck – Each duck you adopt is entered into the race. You can adopt a single duck or a whole flock!

2. Watch the Action – All ducks are released into Snoopy Pond, where CLVFD firefighters use fire hoses to “push” the ducks toward the finish line.

3. Celebrate the Winner – The first duck to cross the finish line earns its adopter bragging rights and a special ribbon!

It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s a little bit wild—perfect for kids and adults alike.
