Join us as we honor those who served. The CL FIRES Memorial Day Flag Raising is a heartfelt tradition that brings our community together to remember and reflect. Ceremony begins at 9:00 AM at Basecamp.
🔥 Chili Cookoff — Fall 2026
Bring the heat (and your best recipe!) to our annual Chili Cookoff. Join friends and neighbors for a day of friendly competition, great food, and community spirit — all in support of CL FIRES and our local firefighters.
🎉 Crystal Lakes Family Fun Day — July 4 & 5, 2026
A day of fun for all ages! Enjoy games for kids, a delicious community lunch, a classic cake walk, and a fire truck parade featuring our Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department. Come celebrate community, connection, and mountain life!
🦆 Crystal Lakes Duck Race — July 5, 2026
Place your bet on your duck and cheer it on at Snoopy Pond! This community favorite brings out kids and adults alike for a splash of fun as both Crystal Lakes and Red Feather Lakes fire departments join in — “pushing” the ducks along with their fire hoses.
